Jessica Fletcher - Marmont: Master Stylist & Owner of True Beauty
Jessica is a Master Hairstylist, and has been in the hair styling industry since 2005. She is highly creative, and loves a challenge! She specializes in updo's and formal hair styling, and loves nothing more than a prom or wedding! Jessica is also certified in KeraStraight Brazilian hair straightening, and PURE hair extensions. Jessica is confident and capable in all aspects of hair design, and would love to meet all your hair needs.
Abby haines: Salon Manager
Abby is one of the smiling faces that greets you at the door when you come to True Beauty. She is also the one that's behind the scenes making the salon function efficiently. She is always going the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.
Jessica Jobe: Assistant Manager
Jessica is our main front end person. She keeps our salon clean and in proper order. She has an eye for detail that helps keep the salon looking its best. She is often the voice you get when you call the salon as well as another smiling face when you enter True Beauty. She gets to know all the clients so she can better suit their needs.
Julie Smith: Master Stylist & Educator
As a stylist of 23 years, Julie strives for excellence in her craft. She has techniques that give her ability to personalize and polish her work. This is what makes Julie stand out as a stylist and a professional. As a master stylist and Educator, Julie has joined our team at True Beauty to offer a unique edge as she also specializes in all Bio Natural beauty needs. She has been a green stylist for 5 years and enjoys educating her clients on how to achieve their needs naturally. In every ones lives we strive to find people who are good at what they do, when you meet Julie you will instantly feel her passion
KevAn Bish: Master Stylist & Educator
Kevan has been in the industry for 25 years. He is the owner and creator of BISH ALIVE. BISH ALIVE is an Organic Product Line made from Sea Kelp, hand picked in Nova Scotia.
Kevan is very passionate not only about helping his clients look their best, but helping them feel their best as well. He is taking great strides to help True Beauty go more Green. Kevan assisted us in bringing in an Organic Color Line, and Bio Natural hair and skin products.

Rebecca Fletcher: Hair Stylist
Rebecca started her career with us here at True Beauty in 2014, and has been eagerly learning ever since. Rebecca completed a 12 month apprenticeship with us under owner - Jessica Fletcher-Marmont. Rebecca specializes in updo's and finishing. She is passionate about all aspects of hair styling, and is continually learning and growing in her career!
Maisaa Abumarzouk: Hair Stylist, Threading Technician & Make Up Artist
Maisaa is a hair stylist, threading technician and make-up artist. She specializes in long, thick/coarse hair. She in an expert in keratin hair straightening, and the all around taming of un-manageable hair! Maisaa also offer 'women only' appointment times throughout the week.
Kayla Nickerson: Master Esthetician
Kayla is our Master Esthetician and has been in the industry since 2008. She is originally from the small town of Yarmouth, but thankfully for us, she has settled into the city and is loving it! Kayla is passionate about her clients, and caring for all of their Esthetic needs. Kayla takes the time to really understand her clients, and feels that a great consultation is key in giving the best possible service. Though confident in all areas, a few of Kayla’s specialties are lash extensions, facials, and makeup applications.
Melanie Wilson: Registered massage therapist
Melanie is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She is a Registered Massage Therapist certified in chronic pain and cupping massage. Her personalized and positive approach to her clients has been both effective and greatly received. Dedicated to providing effective and safe treatments in a relaxing environment, Melanie’s sole focus is on her clients’ wellness whether it is rehabilitation, prevention or relaxation. She is proud to offer direct billing for Great West Life and Blue cross.
Miranda Cameron (Howard): Registered Massage Therapist
Miranda graduated from the Canadian Collage of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2005. Miranda pursued Deep Tissue Therapy and has since focused her treatments using safe and effective techniques to properly engage the soft tissue of the body. She enjoys treating clients in all stages of pain and discomfort. Her special interests include lower back/hip pain, neck/shoulder pain, athletic injuries, motor vehicle accident and stress related issues. ELLIE MAE SCOTT: REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Ellie is a graduate form CCMH with Honors and was the recipient of the "Life Long Learner" award. She is ver passionate about understanding how the body functions in all aspects. Prior to Massage Therapy she completed her BSC in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Honors from Dalhousie University. She is continuing her education in Osteopathy Manual Practice starting at CEO in September 2016. With her deep understanding of how the body functions, and her hands-on palpation skills, Ellie attempts to identify the root cause of her clients problem in order to deliver the best treatment possible.
Lynne Fenerty: Registered Nurse & Osteopath
Lynne Fenerty, RN, BN, CNCC(C), D.O (M.P) Canada is a Registered Nurse, Osteopath, and Rehabilitation Consultant offering Osteopathic health care for all ages and stages.
Lynne graduated from Dalhousie University School of Nursing in 1987. During the past 26 years, she has worked in the clinical areas of general surgery, critical care, health promotion, health education, neuro-trauma, injury prevention, research and physical rehabilitation. Lynne continues to practice hospital based nursing as a research manager and in private practice as an osteopath and rehabilitation consultant.
Lynne completed her osteopathic studies and research with the Canadian College of Osteopathy, a 5 year academic and thesis (1-2 years) program. Her research thesis was titled, “The Effects of Osteopathic Treatment for Patients with Low Back Pain who are on a Neurosurgical Spine Waitlist”.

Lynne is able to combine her clinical background with an osteopathic approach to meet the many needs of a variety of patients who face recovery from traumatic injury and/ or the many stresses and strains of everyday life. The goals of osteopathic treatments are to restore function by treating the whole body and identify the causes of; pain, restriction and imbalance. Osteopathic sessions are a gentle and effective method for restoration of normal motion, decreasing pain and increasing circulation to support your active participation in work, home life, exercise and active rehabilitation programs.
Individualized treatment plans are achieved via gentle manual therapy which may include; myofascial, cranial sacral and osteo-articular approaches. Ginny Lewis: Registered Reflexologist
Ginny has been a reflexologist since 2002. She is registered with NSARP (Nova Scotian Association of Reflexology Practitioners). She has just recently moved from England to Nova Scotia and is excited to set down roots and bring awareness of reflexology to her new clients here in Nova Scotia.
